Explain the work you take on
Name your profession, main service and working format. Add communication languages, service area or remote working options. Replace broad promises with specific tasks you actually accept.
If prices depend on scope, explain what you need for a quote. Avoid promising deadlines before reviewing the task and your availability.
- The name or business name customers recognise.
- Your services, including what needs a separate agreement.
- Languages, working location and preferred contact channel.
- The details a customer should send for an estimate.
A sample description for a translator
This fictional example is not a real profile or testimonial. Adapt only statements that accurately describe your work.
I translate business correspondence and product descriptions from Russian into Turkish and from Turkish into Russian. I work remotely. For a quote, please send the text length, subject, preferred deadline and required file format. We will agree the price and delivery date after I review the material. Interpreting requests are discussed separately.
Make work examples understandable
Choose examples covering different tasks. Explain the brief and your contribution to each image or excerpt. Do not publish customer documents, conversations or other people's contacts without permission.
Check that external review links work. Describe training and experience accurately, without unsupported titles or guaranteed outcomes.
Check the page before sharing
Read the card on a phone as a new customer. Is it clear when to contact you? Do links work? Do the images represent your current services? When sharing, add a sentence pointing the recipient to the relevant work.
Update your details when your number, services or working location changes, so an existing link continues to lead to current information.
Using MyTavs today
As of 12 October 2026, MyTavs offers free business cards to create and share by link. Content is reviewed before first publication; that review does not verify qualifications. Names, services and photos appear in the public preview. The full page with contacts requires free sign-in and email confirmation.
Specialist search and service requests have not launched. You share your card yourself and agree work directly with customers.
