MyTavs

Business card views and action statistics

card-analytics-2026-10-12-1 · 12.10.2026

This is a separate supplement to the Personal Data Processing Notice (KVKK), version prereg-2026-10-07-1. The data controller is Andrei Starovoitov, the organiser of MyTavs, located in Antalya, Republic of Türkiye. Contact: [email protected]. This supplement explains measurement of business card actions and does not replace earlier document acknowledgements or the provider's separate publication decision.

What we count

MyTavs automatically receives events for opening a business card, completing a new registration after viewing it, and clicking an available contact option or external link. Records contain the technical card identifier, event type, event time and day, selected contact or link type, and a browser session identifier calculated with a secret key from the existing tavs_session cookie. A technical account identifier is used to link a new registration and erase related data. These records can be technically linked; we do not describe them as anonymous.

These records do not contain IP addresses, visited or external page addresses, referral URLs, names, email addresses, phone numbers, card text or the actual contact or link value selected. No additional cookie is created for this measurement. The existing session remains valid for up to 24 hours after issue. The main notice separately describes ordinary infrastructure processing of web requests.

Purpose and legal basis

Measurement helps assess use of business cards and the steps from viewing them to registration and contact or link selection, improve this feature, and prevent duplicate counts. The basis is Article 5(2)(f) KVKK: processing necessary for the organiser's legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, provided the visitor's fundamental rights and freedoms are respected. Measurement is limited to these purposes; it is not used to select advertisements, assess individual visitors or track people across websites. Accepting the terms and acknowledging the notice do not constitute consent to this processing.

Access, retention and deletion

Permitted administrators see aggregate counts for each card in the private admin area, without visitor identifiers or individual action histories. No third-party analytics or advertising tracking system is connected for these events. Views, clicks and their card associations are not sent to Telegram; separate service notifications to administrators about new registrations continue. Recipients of ordinary infrastructure requests and unresolved international transfer issues are described in section 4 of the main notice; this supplement does not resolve them.

Event records and registration attribution remain in the active database for up to 90 days, followed by periodic cleanup, normally hourly. Deleting an account or card removes records linked to it earlier. Visits that could not be linked to a deleted account remain only within that retention period. Counts cover retained records and may fall after cleanup or deletion. Section 5 of the main notice describes backups and restoration; 90 days is not a promise of automatic removal of every external or backup copy.

Known test accounts, administrator actions and the owner's actions on their own card are excluded from the counts. Unknown anonymous self-tests and automated visits cannot always be recognised. Cookie blocking, unavailable JavaScript, errors or leaving before an event is sent can cause incomplete measurement.

Your rights

Your rights under Article 11 KVKK and the procedure for requests, correction and deletion are described in section 7 of the main notice. Send questions and requests about this measurement to [email protected]. This notice does not request blanket consent to processing or international transfers.
