Acknowledgements and messages

1. Two separate actions

The registration interface asks for two separate actions: “I accept the MyTavs Preregistration and Service Terms of Use” and “I have read the Personal Data Processing Notice (KVKK)”. Both website boxes start unchecked; the bot uses separate buttons. You can read the documents without signing in or accepting them.

The first action accepts the rules of free preregistration. The second records that you have read the information. It is not consent to processing, advertising or international transfers. The read acknowledgement records that the notice was provided and does not replace an applicable processing ground.

2. Email and acknowledgement records

Andrei Starovoitov uses your email for your account, codes and service confirmation of account creation sent through Resend. Providers and customers must verify email, including in Telegram. The code verifies control of the address; it does not replace the two actions or create a subscription.

After a new account is successfully created through the website and its email is verified, one service confirmation of account creation is prepared with a link to mytavs.com and instructions for signing in using email and a code. If email is verified later, the confirmation is prepared after verification. It explains the current status of search and order features, contains no advertising offers and does not depend on the launch email choice. It is not prepared retroactively for earlier accounts or accounts created solely through the regular bot conversation.

The system records document version and language, channel, action times and the association with your account. The record is stored encrypted. On initial email verification it is attached to the account only after a valid code. A wrong code does not create that record. An existing account can acknowledge a new version in an already verified session without a new code.

An existing account also needs the current acknowledgements to submit a profile or interest record. Earlier registrations are not treated as having accepted new documents retroactively. After changing accounts or using an outdated form, you may need to reopen the documents and make your choices again.

3. Optional request for one launch email

The separate optional checkbox is “Email me when MyTavs launches”. This request has version launch-2026-10-02-1. You ask Andrei Starovoitov, the organiser of MyTavs, to send one launch email containing a website link and permit your verified email address and choice record to be processed only to record and fulfil this specific request. This choice does not subscribe you to regular news or other offers.

The checkbox starts empty and does not affect registration. The bot offers an equivalent separate choice. The request is saved for the account only after email verification; entering a code does not create it by itself. Earlier accounts remain opted out unless the user enables the request. The two mandatory document acknowledgements do not include this choice.

You can change or withdraw the request in your account or by emailing [email protected]. Once withdrawn, the request is not used for sending. The current choice and its change history are stored encrypted, separately from mandatory document acknowledgements, and are removed from the active database with the account. The account period applies: 180 days from its creation followed by the next cleanup; choosing or changing the request does not start a new period. The Personal Data Processing Notice (KVKK) explains how deletion applies to backups and recipients.

Recording, changing and withdrawing the choice are currently implemented. Sending the launch email, exporting addresses and synchronising with Resend marketing lists are not enabled. Regular news and other advertising mailings remain disabled. Account codes and messages needed for an action you request are handled separately.

Recording the request under KVKK and the requirements for sending electronic messages are separate matters. This choice is not blanket processing or international transfer consent. The future email's classification and the application of 6563/İYS requirements, including when collecting the choice, have not been confirmed by a completed assessment. This setting does not establish an İYS exemption or readiness to send emails.

4. Data, deletion and requests

The Personal Data Processing Notice (KVKK) describes the data, processing purposes and grounds, recipients, international transfers, retention periods, deletion and your rights.

Account deletion removes its active acknowledgement records. The notice explains how backups, delivered messages and separate contact form enquiries are handled. Send personal data requests, including after account deletion, to [email protected] using the procedure in the notice. You can send project questions through the contact form.
